I tend to think that everyone understands what manifesting means, but someone asked me the other day to address this, so here’s my take on it:
The dictionary says that manifestation = “an event, action, or object that clearly shows or embodies something abstract or theoretical”.
This means that manifesting is about making a thought become a reality. It may sound simple, but it’s not easy…
When we become one with that thought, it has to happen. When there is nothing blocking it and you can’t see any other outcome, it will manifest. But how do we get to that point?
Worry is your biggest enemy. Worry will keep anything you want away from you. The same goes for things that you “want”. When you want it, it means that you don’t have it, so it’s sort of a state of lack. This is why I keep telling you to change your wordings from “I want” to “I have”. The more you can keep your focus on one thought, without thinking of anything else, the more likely that thought is to manifest.
This is one reason why meditation is so beneficial – it quiets your mind. Your brain can either be your biggest friend or your biggest enemy – depending on how you use it. The amygdala and the caudet nucleus are there to keep your Ego safe, so when you go too far out of your comfort zone, they will signal red alert – your Ego is dying. When your Ego is dying, it will make you think that YOU are dying. This is when we experience “The dark night of the soul”. This can happen many times during your life.
So incremental change is easier to handle than overnight success! The really useful part of your brain is your frontal lobe. This is where you want to project the images of what you want, and block out all thoughts. Abraham-Hicks talk about 17 seconds as the crucial time, but they also mention 68 seconds for anything to manifest instantaneously. Even 17 seconds is a VERY long time….
We are extremely powerful beings and we keep manifesting all the time – by default… The trick is to do it consciously! Your whole life is actually a manifestation of your own thoughts and expectations, so make sure you choose your thoughts carefully.
There are many tools for manifesting, like vision boards, affirmations and so on. The whole point of them are to make you feel like you already have that thing/experience that you want. Keep daydreaming and become one with your dreams.
What is something you have manifested consciously in your life? Let me know in the comments!
